Privacy Policy
How JDL Ventures Corporation ("JDL Ventures," "we," "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use jdlventures.com and related pages.
Effective date: October 14, 2026 · Last updated: October 15, 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to information collected through jdlventures.com and pages that link to it, and to communications with JDL Ventures that reference this policy. It does not cover separately branded platforms we operate, such as TheDealMaker.ai, JDLDeals.ai or InvestorLoan.ai, which have their own policies, or third-party sites we link to.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide. Name, firm, work email, phone number, firm type, capital and mandate details, job application details, newsletter preferences, privacy requests, and anything else you submit through our forms, by phone or by text.
Messages to our AI assistant. If you use the "Ask the archive" assistant on newsletter pages, we keep your questions, the answers and any details you include, so we can respond and follow up. If you use voice input, your browser's speech service turns your speech into text; we receive only the text.
Information collected automatically. Device and browser data, IP address, pages viewed, referring pages and interaction data, collected by our hosting provider and through cookies, local storage and similar technologies.
Information from third parties. Business contact and firmographic data from partners, public sources and data providers, used to understand who we are working with.
3. How We Use Information
- Respond to inquiries and briefing requests
- Deliver market intelligence, newsletters and other content you request
- Evaluate partnership, licensing, advisory and deal opportunities
- Review job applications
- Operate, secure and improve our site and services
- Comply with legal obligations and keep business records
If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, we rely on these legal bases: your consent (for example, text messages and newsletters), steps you ask us to take before entering a contract (for example, a briefing request or job application), our legitimate interests in running and growing our business, and compliance with legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law, and have not done so in the past 12 months. We share it only with affiliated companies under common control; service providers that help us operate, such as our CRM and messaging platform (HighLevel), website hosting (Vercel), and the AI providers behind our assistant; professional advisors; parties to a merger, acquisition or similar transaction; authorities when required by law; and others with your consent. None of this sharing includes mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data, as described in Section 5.
5. SMS and Text Messaging
If you opt in to text messages, we send marketing and informational messages about real estate deals, training, offers and your inquiry. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and local storage only where the site needs them to work, for example to remember your assistant conversation and keep forms secure. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies on jdlventures.com; if we add them, we will update this section and ask for consent where the law requires. You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Our site does not respond to Do Not Track signals.
7. Third Party Services
Our site links to and integrates with third-party services. Their handling of your information is governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, to meet legal and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes, then delete or de-identify it.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Residents of the EU and UK have rights under the GDPR, including the right to object and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To make a request, use the privacy request form in Section 14 or call or text (941) 960-7760. You may also use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent's authority. We verify requests before acting on them and respond within the time the law requires (45 days under the CCPA, one month under the GDPR), and may extend that period where the law allows. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we will tell you the result and any further options.
11. Children's Privacy
Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
12. International Users
We are based in the United States and process information here. By using the site from outside the United States, you understand your information will be processed in the United States. Where the law requires, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where required.
